Week 1 Intro to Entrprenuership
This week was the beginning of my Entrepreneurship class. I am wondering what I will learn from this class as it seems to be a repeat of my other Business classes. I understand that this class is about creating a life plan, but I am 57 years old and wonder what my life plan will look like. I am getting my education because it is a personal goal for me. I have been a realtor for 10 years https://colleen-manley.iprorealtynetwork.com/, I have run an online website for selling puppies andreasyorkies.weebly.com and I currently own a travel agency MySuiteTravelhttp://mysuitetravel.com. I have owned my own brick and mortar store called The Bear Mill.

I have always loved business
and had an entrepreneurial spirit. It started from my father and then my
brothers and sisters have all been successful businesspeople. While my
husband was in college, we started our own in-home care center. It was
such a great idea, but we didn’t have enough capital to keep advertising and I
had a 1-year-old so that was
challenging. The mere fact that we even
attempted this business while so young and poor was incredible. We decided to close down our newly started business for lack of funds and decided that after we got our education, and had more capital to work with, we could again be entrepreneurs.
I believe
that we were all born entrepreneurs. I loved this quote from our
reading, "All humans were born entrepreneurs. In the
caves, we were all self-employed, finding food, feeding ourselves; that's how
human history began and that's the entrepreneurial spirit we must rediscover.
We have it within ourselves to take control of our career and build the future
we want." www.startupofyou.com
I am looking forward to
learning about my other class members and learning from them in their journey
of life and what their life plans will look like. I am also looking forward to seeing what my life plan turns out to entail.
